Flat rate mobile Internet is really cheap in Vietnam - cheaper than in the US. 3GB flat rate mobile internet costs just 200 000 Dong ($9.50) and is activated through a quick text from your phone. Just make sure you have call balance available as the cost for the data package is deducted from the call balance.

Even though the initial call balance of the Vietnam SIM Card is 200 000 Dong, we recommend that you add at least some top up before activating the Internet package, as even 1 single Dong in any cost before activating the data package, would cause the activation to fail.

The data packages are valid for 30 days.
