Flat Rate Mobile Internet in China

Flat rate mobile Internet packages are available. 500MB costs just 50 ¥ ($7.50) and is activated through a quick text from your phone. Just make sure you have call balance available, as the cost for the internet package is deducted from the call balance.

If you need more than 500MB, you can choose a 2GB option for 100 ¥. The data packages are valid for 30 days.

Say goodbye to arbitrary per MB fees while traveling.

The SIM Card can be used as a data SIM card in a dongle, ipad/tablet, MIFI-router or used for tethering with laptop.

Calls between two travelers in China using HolidayPhone

The rate for calls between two travelers using HolidayPhone equals that of local calls as stated above. If you are traveling in a party, we recommend that you order HolidayPhone for all travelers, so that you can make cheap calls between each other on your trip. To achieve this, just dial the local Chinese mobile phone number provided with the SIM.

Make calls within China and topping up call balance

Note that our Pay As You Go SIM Card for China comes with no initial call balance. You can add top up vouchers according to your needs with your order of the HolidayPhone SIM Card for China. We provide 100 ¥ top up vouchers that are easily activated by entering a code directly on the phone.

If you during your trip need need additional top up, you can buy top-up vouchers in kiosks and supermarkets across China, or on our website for digital delivery by email.

The China SIM Card is valid 90 days from the last top up, so it can last forever as long as you top up at least once every 90 days.

Calling the US from China

When calling the US using your HolidayPhone prepaid SIM card for China, just dial 10193 followed by 00 and the destination country code (1 for USA). For example: 212-333-4444 in the US, becomes 10193 00 1 2123334444.

Receive calls in China

You receive inbound calls dialed to your American mobile phone number just as usual as all calls are seamlessly forwarded from the US to your Chinese prepaid SIM card without any expensive roaming charges.

The standard HolidayPhone package includes 3 hours of forwarded calls from the US, but you can easily add more at a low cost when ordering.

In China, there is a small cost of 0,40 Yuan/min for receiving calls (deducted from the call balance of the China SIM Card). This cost is still a fraction of the cost for receiving calls with a US operator in China, as with HolidayPhone there is no additional international roaming fee applied for receiving calls in China dialed to your US number.
